farfetch.com, the global online hub for 150 of the world's top fashion boutiques announces the signing of two of the world's most important bricks and mortar stores as part of its strategic growth plans: iconic London based independent Browns and Miami-based multi-brand store, The Webster  are to join the farfetch.com platform this summer.

With partner stores in 15 countries across the United States and the EU, farfetch.com is the connector of unrivalled fashion boutiques from both sides of the Atlantic; bringing their 60,000-strong product offering to a global audience of fashion-forward online shoppers.

As the founder of the ultimate independent store in the UK, industry veteran Mrs. Joan Burstein of Browns is credited with the discovery of household names such as Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Comme des Garçons. farfetch.com is honoured to be partnering with an iconic store that remains as revolutionary today as with its inception in 1970.

Bringing Miami's The Webster on board is farfetch.com's most important U.S partnership to date. As the most revered fashion destination on the east coast boasting an extensive collection of ready-to-wear and luxury accessories, the signing is a turning point in terms of the farfetch.com's growth strategy in North America. These partnerships will help elevate farfetch.com's status in the online landscape, and ensure its already unrivalled list of brands continues to flourish.

The signings are two in a significant group of stores to recently join the farfetch.com network.  In addition, the company recently partnered with Antwerp independents SN3 and Coccodrillo, and luxury womenswear boutique Marion Heinrich in Munich. The development will cement farfetch.com's position as the online destination to shop the world's best boutiques.

Browns joins the farfetch.com platform on August 9th, and The Webster join on September 5th
