Global Cloud Xchange Appoints Chris van Zinnicq Bergmann as Head of Corporate Development for Europe

AMSTERDAM, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Cloud Xchange today announced the appointment of Chris van Zinnicq Bergmann as Head of Corporate Development for Europe.

Mr. Van Zinnicq Bergmann joins the team with more than twenty years of global telecommunications experience, most recently as a business development advisor to Inteliglobe, a data communications service provider with footprint in Latin America.

Prior to starting his own consultancy firm, Mr. Van Zinnicq Bergmann was with Pacnet for more than 13 years where he held leadership positions including the Head of Europe, Head of Southeast Asia and India as well as Director of Regional Development during the transition of Asia Global Crossing to Asia Netcom, which later evolved into Pacnet.

Mr. Van Zinnicq Bergmann started his telecommunications career in Amsterdam where he held corporate as well as sales related positions at BT, Unisource (a joint venture between KPN, Telia and Swisscom) and AT&T-Unisource.  He received his MA in Dutch Law from Groningen University in The Netherlands and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.
