Celebrating the growth of the Global Alliance, Dr Marcos Eguiguren, Executive Director, GABV said "As we are approaching our #BankingOnValues Day, this year marked on November 2, I am happy to welcome three new members to our values-based family coming from three different continents. With all support and efforts of our members, partners, and 48+ thousand co-workers around the world, we are truly making a positive change in the world of finances. Every day, we jointly show examples of how business can be done in a different way that has no impact on the environment and supports the development of communities worldwide. We are committed to advancing positive change in the banking sector. Our collective goal is to change the banking system so that it is more transparent, supports economic, social and environmental sustainability, and is composed of a diverse range of banking institutions serving the real economy. We still are not close to achieving our goal, but we are at the right path. Being optimistic, investing in our people, and being inspired by each other will help us succeed in our joint mission of changing finance. Only by working together we can influence the change we want to see.
The Global Alliance, together with its members and partners, continues its work to make the world of finance more values-based, to minimize the effect on the environment, and to become a role model and inspiration for change in the financial world.
