Malaysia's See Lian Ong, Global President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) visited Britain's University of Glamorgan as they announced that a further two construction and property courses have gained accreditation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
See Lian Ong, who has enjoyed an illustrious career in the construction industry in Malaysia, travelled to Wales last week (14 June) to discuss export opportunities for the Welsh construction market. During his visit he met with the University of Glamorgan's Vice-Chancellor Julie Lydon for a tour of the award-winning facilities at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama which won a prize for Design and Innovation in the 2012 RICS Awards Wales.
In addition to the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, MSc Construction Project Management and MSc Environmental Conservation Management awards, the University now has accredited awards in BSC (Hons) Project Management Surveying and MSc Asset Management and Development.
