Danish design house Georg Jensen debuts its latest collaboration, an innovative collection of jewellery designed by globally renowned architect, Zaha Hadid, at this year's Baselworld. The collection is created from sterling silver, and black rhodium set with black diamonds and will launch at retail in September. Their sculptural forms and complex curves reference Hadid's groundbreaking structural designs.

"Working with Georg Jensen presented an opportunity to express our ideas in different scales and through different media. Our starting point was the Danish house's design links to nature. In addition to her jewellery collection, Hadid was commissioned by Georg Jensen to design a site-specific architectural installation at the Baselworld show.
Seen as a defining feature of the event, the dynamic installation will serve as a lounge for show visitors. Its innovative silhouette and free-form seating arrangements reference her new jewellery collection and present a destination that is both inviting and relaxing.
Georg Jensen's CEO, Eva-Lotta Sjöstedt, joined the company in January and brings a wealth of retail experience in different markets across Europe and Asia. She will guide the company in evolving its Danish design legacy into a global brand and participates at Baselworld for the first time.
