Gazprombank, a leading Russian bank, announces that Gazprombank Asset Management has appointed Igor Kan to the position of Vice-President and Head of Structured Products Portfolio Management and Trading.
Commenting on the appointment, Aylin Suntay, First Vice-President of Gazprombank and CEO of Gazprombank Asset Management, said, "We are very glad to welcome Igor to our investment management team where we believe he will play a key role to further develop our product strategy and line-up. Prior to joining Gazprombank Mr Kan worked for Russian Regional Development Bank, a subsidiary of Rosneft as an Advisor to the President. He started his career as a trader at ING Barings, Moscow and London in 1994. In 1996, he moved to Morgan Stanley, London where he was a Managing Director and then became the Deputy Chairman at Morgan Stanley Moscow Bank. In 2010, Igor moved to CitiGroup as a Managing Director and General Director of Citigroup Global Markets. Igor Kan graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology and from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, USA.
