Galtronics Launches New 20/60 degrees LTE MIMO Antenna for High-Capacity Venues
BARCELONA, Spain, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Galtronics Corporation Ltd., a Baylin Technologies (TSX: BYL) company, is adding to its EXTENT™ stadium antenna line the new EXTENT™ D5502i narrow-beam LTE MIMO panel antenna, which supports the full frequency range between 698 MHz-2700 MHz with excellent RF performance. The new D5502i antenna is a broadband, directional, single-sector MIMO antenna designed for use in stadiums, campuses or similar venues that have very high capacity needs for wireless connectivity met by distributed antenna systems. Galtronics engineers have designed this antenna with a precise, consistent footprint, low interference and very small physical dimensions. The radome is specifically engineered to be unobtrusive in a large-venue environment.
The D5502i completes Galtronics' advanced antenna portfolio for large venues, which also includes its EXTENT™ 30/60 degrees, 30/30 degrees, and 60/60 degrees antennas and provides a broad range of options for flexible design to meet high-capacity venues network needs. This enables RF engineers to design optimized DAS installations with high sectorization to support modern wireless networks.
