The 13th Annual Delhi Sustainable Development Summit, Slated to be Held From January 31-February 02, 2013 in New Delhi, Will Explore the Diverse Dimensions of Promoting Resource-efficient Development and Attempt to Strengthen the Global Momentum for Green Growth as Raised at the Rio+20 Conference.

In the past, the summit has witnessed the participation of 33 heads of states, ministerial representation from 43 countries, and has been inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India since 2010. Mr Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev, Former President of the Former Soviet Union, and H.E. Mr Bharrat Jagdeo, Former President, Guyana.

DSDS 2013 is entitled "The Global Challenge of Resource Efficient Growth and Development", which has emerged as one of the most crucial issues facing world economies at present. The three day summit will explore various ways for individuals and countries to collaborate on countering the challenges of resource-efficient growth and towards shaping a better future. The summit, slated to be held from January 31 to February 02, 2013 in New Delhi, seeks to facilitate discussions to strengthen and further the resolutions adopted in The Future We Want.
