MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent research on the market for predictive text, Frost & Sullivan presents WordLogic Corporation with the 2014 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Enabling Technology Leadership. The US-incorporated WordLogic Corporation has developed the WordLogic Predictive Engine for mobile and wearable devices, which powers its context-aware applications such as WordLogic Reach™ and WordLogic iKnowU®.
The iKnowU® is a predictive keyboard that makes typing easier, faster and more accurate for mobile users. It predicts the most likely letters, words and phrases, which significantly reduces the number of keystrokes needed to complete any text. Reach™ can also retrieve contact information, meeting dates and locations, find local restaurants or services, attach images, perform unit conversions, and get currency conversions or the latest stock quotes. It creates an additional revenue stream for WordLogic by allowing advertising and marketing companies to deliver targeted, context-specific and location-aware content to users.
The WordLogic prediction technologies are expected to have a huge impact on verticals such as healthcare, legal, insurance, consulting and journalism, which produce voluminous documents and reports and use complex terms.
