P2i, the world leader in liquid repellent nano-coating technology, announced today the intention of its CEO, Carl D Francis, to step down at the end of 2016.

P2i specialises in super thin hydrophobic coatings, predominantly for the consumer electronics industry. A spin-out from the UK Ministry of Defence, the Company boasts a number of global, high profile smartphone brands as its customers. Francis, 56, joined P2i in 2008; since that time, the Company has developed and defined the concept of protecting consumer electronics.

He will continue to lead P2i until he steps down at the end of the year, but this early notice allows for a thorough recruitment process to be concluded. Francis will continue to serve the Company in an advisory role following the transition to a new Chief Executive.
