Flowmon Networks, a performance leader in advanced network monitoring and security solutions, announced today it has improved its positioning in Gartner's February 2017 Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics (NPMD). Flowmon moved up and right for both ability to execute and the completeness of vision.

According to the Gartner report, "NPMD solutions are key in helping I&O leaders support more complex technologies and services with network visibility, performance issue detection and root cause analysis."

The company was evaluated for its Flowmon solution, a comprehensive platform utilizing an advanced flow-based network traffic monitoring technology, packet capture and behavior analytics. In 2016 Flowmon introduced several new features, extended visibility into the network traffic and developed a new engine allowing a way to profile flow data with 30 sec granularity which massively reduces the reaction time to network operational and security issues. All of this has opened new business opportunities and broadened Flowmon's customer base.
