Finland's Leading Industrial Event Recognized in the UK
WASHINGTON, Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of his visit to Finland, Prince Michael of Kent (UK) will visit the Subcontracting Trade Fair in Tampere on Wednesday 27 September together with his business delegation. The purpose of the visit is to promote trade and investments between Finland and the UK. The Subcontracting Trade Fair is Finland's leading industrial event with 1,000 exhibitors each year. Over 100 of the companies come from abroad, representing over 20 countries. The international Subcontracting Trade Fair will be held from 26 to 28 September 2017 at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.
The theme of this year's Subcontracting Trade Fair is partnership networks. This year, Alihankinta 2017 organisers have partnered with MSK Group.

The event wants to support networking within the industry and promote the finding of international contacts and business opportunities in new markets. The trade fair will introduce different project funding opportunities, especially for SMEs, and offer business mentoring. The programme also includes expert speeches on various topics from product development and industry trends to production digitalisation and occupational well-being. Industrial companies and startups will meet for the second time at AlihankintaHEAT, held as part of the trade fair on Tuesday 26 September, and the new addition, HeatCorner, will run for the entire duration of the fair.

Subcontracting Trade Fair at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre 26-28 September 2017. The event will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm.
Held since 1988, the annual Subcontracting Trade Fair showcases Finnish industry and its leading companies. A total of 18,422 industry decision-makers and other experts attended the event last year. The main partners of Tampere Trade Fairs are the Technology Industries of Finland association, the Rubber Manufacturers' Association of Finland RMAF, the Finnish Plastics Industries Federation, and the Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics LOGY. AlihankintaHEAT is offered by Finland Events, the event unit of Tampere Trade Fairs, in cooperation with Rapid Action Group (RAG).
