FC Barcelona Escola and Summerfuel Partner to Launch U.K. Soccer School

NEW YORK, April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Building upon the success of existing soccer schools in Barcelona, Marbella and Boston, the official FC Barcelona Escola is expanding to London, England for the first time this summer. With expert coaching from FC Barcelona academy coaches, FCB Soccer Schools are offered in partnership with Summerfuel, the leading provider of educational and inspirational academic and sports immersion programs based in the US and Europe.

The day camp, offered for players of all abilities, ages 5-16, teaches football with the FC Barcelona philosophy, emphasizing technical skill, possession and movement. Each program begins with an evaluation of skill levels followed by daily activities including technique sessions, fun games, and mini tournaments.
"Soccer training is improving and diversifying across the U.K. and players want to be exposed to as many different sessions and styles as possible so they can become better. We are bringing some of the best coaches from Barcelona so players receive the best quality training," said Sequeira. Registration is now open. Each player receives an official FC Barcelona Soccer Schools kit. In addition, two players will be selected to participate in the FCB Escola tournament in Barcelona, Spain in May 2016. The London FCB Soccer School will run from August 10 – August 14, 2015. Other FCB Escola locations include day camps in Marbella and Boston and residential camps at the official FC Barcelona training facilities in Barcelona, Spain.
