EYKON Strengthens Strategic Focus Through Sale of Water Meter Business to Sensus International
CHAM, Switzerland, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- EYKON and Sensus International, both part of the AURELIUS Midmarket portfolio, have entered into an agreement under which EYKON will sell its water meter business to Sensus International.
The agreement enables both organisations to focus on their respective strengths and supports EYKON's strategic focus in the areas where the company has established scale, long-standing customer relationships and leading positions across its portfolio.
Over recent years, EYKON has successfully established a presence in the water sector while continuing to build on its long-standing expertise in advanced metering, connectivity and digital utility solutions. This transaction marks the next step in EYKON's portfolio evolution and supports the company's continued investment in advanced metering, connectivity and digital utility solutions.
Following the transition, water metering business will continue under Sensus International, a dedicated water metering provider with a long-standing presence in the sector.
