LONDON, October 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
The world's only dedicated combat airpower forum will be taking place in Berlin from 7th - 9th November 2017
With the 2017 International Fighter conference fast approaching, exciting updates include VIP delegations from Canada, Japan, Oman and Denmark now attending.
Attendees will hear from a speaker panel that includes the Director of Operations, Royal Thai Air Force, the Head of German Air Force Operations Command, the US F-35 Integration Office and the Bangladesh Air Force. View the attendee list here.
Since its conception, International Fighter has provided an annual opportunity for Chiefs of Air Staff and senior commanders to come together and assess the challenges of the contemporary and future battlespace.
Upon attending the conference last year, Squadron Leader Mansoor, Pakistan Air Force, stated: "It was a very informative event with a clear insight into latest developments and experiences of Air Forces around the globe."
It is a critical moment for combat airpower, with roughly 4,000 fighters, valued at $260 billion, estimated to be obtained over the next 15 years. As F-35 nations continue to take delivery of 5th generation aircraft, other air forces are working to meet the wide and varied requirements necessary, in order to be prepared for combat in an increasingly complex battlespace.
In the run up to the event, Defence IQ have developed a report that explores current fighter aircraft activity across the globe, along with future developments and predictions for 2018: download the full report here.
This conference will make for an exceptionally informative and valuable event, by championing discussions between nations, to fully understand the challenges that shape the current and future battlespace.
