Ex Manager of Massa and Barrichello, Tips Racing Driver Andre Negrao for Future Success

GENEVA, April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Andre Negrao of Formula Renault 3.5 Series team Draco Racing completed a successful pre-season test at the legendary Monza circuit in Italy with praise from one of motor racing's most well known figures.

Ricardo Tedeschi, manager of Andre said, "Monza is the third round of the season, and Andre being a rookie has to learn the track. Being a rookie in the championship with a new class of car is always a big step over what he raced in 2010 (480 bhp vs. 210 bhp). However Andre has lots of talent and is going to be a great driver for the future. The team is new to him and he will adjust well to new ways of working. I am confident that Andre will be one of the best drivers of the future."

Deco, as he is affectionately named said, "Having a fast car that is integrated with a great team like Draco Racing is very rewarding." Andre completed over 80 laps at the end of the practice session, maintaining an average speed of 180 km/h, approaching 300 km/h at the end of lines, he set a lap time of 1'37"922.

"It was an amazing experience to train on this world famous track, where top drivers like Massa, Barrichello and Senna raced. The car is very fast and technologically advanced. I am very encouraged at the thought that it was from this category drivers like Vettel and Kubica progressed to Formula 1."
