ESCATEC Announces Appointment of Chief Operating Officer
PENANG, Malaysia, June 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --
Longtime executive team member, Juha Arola, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the ESCATEC Group. The global provider of electronic and box build design, development and manufacturing solutions has chosen Mr. Arola to lead operations at all of its manufacturing facilities worldwide. Mr Arola will take up his responsibilities as COO beginning July 1, 2018.

Prior to his appointment as COO, Mr. Arola first joined ESCATEC as Nordic sales manager in 2006 and from 2008 has been General Manager of the company's two Johor Bahru facilities, ESCATEC Mechatronics and ESCATEC Industries. The newly appointed COO will continue to act as GM for these facilities until a suitable successor is found.
Mr. Arola has held numerous high-level management positions at industry-leading EMS and OEM companies and accumulated a wealth of experience in leadership and operations. Committed to leading the company in operational performance, the new COO will actively continue to implement lean manufacturing, improving quality, enhancing delivery performance and reducing costs for the ESCATEC Group.
