In its 3rd consecutive year, the Korea Excellence Awards aim to recognize companies that have demonstrated outstanding achievement and superior performance in various industries from the Automotive, Energy, and Healthcare categories to the Aerospace & Defense and Information Communication Technology sectors.
Award recipients for the 2014 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Awards were identified based on an in-depth research conducted by Frost & Sullivan's analysts. The award categories offered each year are carefully reviewed and evaluated to reflect the current market landscape and include new emerging trends.
The Unified Communications Vendor of the Year award is conferred to the technology vendor that has shown exemplary growth and performance in 2013 in South Korea. The recipient of this award was evaluated based on their revenue & revenue growth in emerging UC applications market, revenue & revenue growth in total UC applications market, end-to-end product coverage and vendors represented, and UC strategy including current and future plans to address UC opportunity, team strength and current capability and solution deployed.
While the unified communications (UC) market in South Korea grew by 3.0%, Ericsson-LG Enterprise secured its strong position in the segment by expanding to 6.0%.
