EOS, global technology and quality leader for high-end Additive Manufacturing (AM) solutions, recently introduced the EOS M 100 - a new system for Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS)®. In terms of process and parts quality, the system corresponds to the market-leading EOS M 290 metal system.

Technical changes lead to high level of cost efficiency
The system features a 200 Watt fibre laser, which due to its beam quality and performance stability ensures optimum and consistent processing conditions, resulting in reproducible parts qualities. This feature, plus a smaller laser spot with excellent detail resolution, makes it possible to produce high-quality, highly-complex and delicate components. The systems build space and an efficient recoating and exposure strategy reduce non-productive time periods, which also contributes to the efficient production of smaller quantities.
