Enactus has aligned its entrepreneurial action program to the seventeen United Nations SDGs to support and achieve this action plan for the advancement of people and planet. Enactus is a dynamic community of student, academic and business leaders along with 550 partner companies aligned and committed to accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 17 United Nations integrated Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets build upon the Millennium Development Goals set for 2015. The aim is higher for year 2030, but Enactus has led this space for over 30 years. The Enactus projects by more than 70,500 university students per year, focus on addressing these goals through projects of social impact and sustainable social enterprise.

Enactus recently celebrated the awarding of the 2015 Enactus World Champion team of the University of Southampton at the Enactus World Cup held in Johannesburg, South Africa with the team creating 14 projects aligned to SDG #3 of ensuring healthy lives and wellbeing, along with SDG #6 of the availability of clean water and sanitation and economic growth to impact over 20 000 Kenyans across their 14 projects. This is just a singular example of Enactus projects focused on the achievement of the SDGs.
Enactus has specific goal initiatives such as the 'Spring-back' project aligned to accomplishing SDG #12 and SDG#6 and the Gre-Cycling project in Zimbabwe supporting SDG#5 and SDG#8. Enactus projects throughout the year will continue to create substantial awareness for the goals and the Enactus Social Ambassadors will share the stories throughout social media.
