Empire State Building and Iconic Towers to Raise Awareness for Japanese Relief Efforts by Shining Tower Lights White and Red

NEW YORK, April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Empire State Building (ESB) along with other iconic towers around the globe will join in a worldwide show of solidarity to raise awareness and encourage support for the people of Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami, by shining their lights white and red - the colors of Japan - on Monday, April 4, 2011.

ESB has asked other towers around the globe to unite together in support of Japan and light to generate awareness of the aid efforts worldwide. In addition to ESB, participating towers include:
