Emefcy Group Limited (EMC) Publishes Vision and Key Goals for 2016
MELBOURNE, Australia, January 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Following the successful completion of the capital raising and listing of Emefcy in December 2015, Emefcy Group Limited (ASX: EMC) now provides an update on its status along with announcing a broader vision and key goals for the 2016 calendar year.
The updates are on a pipeline of potential projects estimated at A$13 million, based on offers in selected territories: North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, Australia, Europe, Africa and Israel; also on the signed first commercial contract for municipal wastewater treatment in Ha-Yogev, Israel, valued at about A$380,000, for which first revenue is expected this quarter and for which products are being manufactured.
Emefcy's vision is declared as becoming the market leader for resource-efficient & energy-positive wastewater treatment within its target segments in municipal & industrial wastewater by 2020, a market estimated at over A$8 billion.
Emefcy is setting its goals in different categories: It anticipates achieving first Emefcy revenue from the Ha-Yogev, Israel project in Q1 2016 and successfully completing the first commercial deployment of SABRE modules there by the end of Q2 (June 2016). It also aims to secure a minimum of two additional contracts for deployment of SABRE technology by Q4 (December 2016), including at least one new geographic market, and achieve cumulative signed contracts of at least A$1M in 2016.
On product development, Emefcy is aiming to have its next generation SABRE product ready for market by Q4, while continuing the development of new products SUBRE and EBR.
As part of the Company's marketing strategy, Emefcy aims to finalise the China business model for SABRE technology solutions and appoint a China business partner by Q4 to allow China market entry in the future, once suitable product and market opportunities are secured. Other marketing strategies include developing a business model to supply water - ready for implementation by Q4, while increasing the potential projects pipeline through trade shows, partners and marketing initiatives.
Finally, from a corporate perspective, Emefcy aims to establish a relationship with a North American capital markets communication advisor in Q1, make key sales and management hires and secure non-dilutive financing.
A more detailed plan is published on ASX under company announcements, and is also available on the Emefcy website http://www.emefcy.com, where updates on progress are periodically posted.
About Emefcy Group Limited (EMC)
Emefcy offers a commercially-proven wastewater treatment solution disrupting large existing markets and addressing the growing global need for clean water. Its initial technology, SABRE - The Spiral Aerobic Biofilm Reactor - is a modular decentralised wastewater treatment solution using 90% less energy than conventional technology. Future generation products are higher capacity solutions being developed for broader markets. Emefcy's future technology under development, EBR - The Electrogenic Bio Reactor, will harvest electricity from highly-loaded industrial wastewater that is typically very costly to treat. The energy's value has the potential to completely offset other treatment operating costs.
