The conference marks the 50th anniversary of international meetings organized by the Estuarine & Coastal Sciences Association. It is held in collaboration with Elsevier's international journal Estuarine Coastal and Shelf Science and will cover the fundamental natural and social sciences for estuaries, coasts and marine areas and emphasizes the links to integrated and sustainable management of these areas.
