Electronica 2012 Munich: Exhibitors and Visitors Driven Online

YORK, England, October 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

OEMsecrets have created a "safe haven" online, where buyers are able to source electronic components from the industry's largest quality franchised distributors like Digi-Key and Avnet and manufacturers direct such as Microchip and Coilcraft. To further enhance their sourcing platform, OEMsecrets are now adding reputable non-franchised distributors onto the website to list their in-stock inventory. These suppliers are screened for quality and procedures are in place to ensure their inventory listed on OEMsecrets is in-stock only. OEMsecrets strictly do not list any "available" stock and do not post any inventory from China. To help combat the counterfeit epidemic in the industry, OEMsecrets are working in concert with DAG (Distributors Advisory Group) who are working hard to educate the industry with regards to counterfeit electronics.

As Electronica 2012 quickly approaches, OEMsecrets are looking to grow their database of high-quality distributors to further enhance the website. OEMsecrets is free for all buyers to search with no restrictions; there is no sign-in process, which allows users to swiftly find and buy parts through the website: http://www.oemsecrets.com

Buyers want and expect more; they want live stock levels, pricing, packaging information like real sizes, etc. As more and more distributors move to online sales, OEMsecrets is linking users directly into the distributors' shopping carts, making for a fast and safe purchasing environment.

The focus for the manufacturers and distributors at Electronica will without doubt be a continuation of how to push their customers and products online from product catalogues to engineering news. OEMsecrets will continue to aid in this process, giving the buyers unbelievable value when using the site and distributors new OEM business through orders generated through OEMsecrets.

With over 90,000 electronics professionals expected to arrive in Munich for the Electronica exhibition in November, OEMsecrets is looking forward to new business transactions and contacts with distributors and buyers alike.
