eDreams Breaks Travel Stereotypes with Launch of New Blog Design and Video

In a bid to break stereotypical views of travel in general, as well as specific destinations, eDreams has just launched its brand new blog design to coincide with the release of their surprising short film.

Today eDreams launched their new travel blog design, along with their colourful short film entitled Barcelona - Breaking Stereotypes. The film reveals an alternative side to the popular tourist destination. By showing the city as seen by its inhabitants, it encourages travellers to avoid tourist traps and, instead, dare to go off the beaten path.

The film is part of a greater campaign to help travellers from all around the world get the most from the places they visit. It coincides with the launch of the brand new blog design, which was created with the same purpose in mind, as well as breaking the stereotype of corporate blogs.

However, the blog hasn't just received a makeover, the content has also made a move from general travel advice to more specialised and specific content. Some of this content is created with the help of eDreams' clients and social media community. So, as with the video, readers get to see destinations through the eyes of people who have been there and know them well.

Examples of articles written within this new direction include an interview about local food with a Facebook Fan, personalised city guides, and photo essays created by people who live or have recently visited the place they are recommending.
