This was an exciting week for the Israeli Eco Wave Power company as its co-founder Ms. Inna Braverman represented Eco Wave Power Company's expertise in the "Energy Opportunity Challenge" by CNBC and Shell, with her table winning the challenge, thereby showing Eco Wave Power's involvement and deep understanding of the Green Energy market.
Energy Opportunities' 2013 journey started with a brainstorm in London, where 82 executives, policy wonks and academics were gathered to propose an IT solution meant to reduce the greenhouse emissions by 20% over the next 20 years.
This year's first brainstorm took place at the top of the Heron Tower in London; the view over the city combined with the light bulb decoration helped spark some creative thinking and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
After some heated discussions, tables voted on their favorite ideas, worked out the details of the outcome of the vote, and then had 90 seconds to pitch their ideas to the room.
According to CNBC: "As soon as the brainstorm started heads were bowed around the room and a huge range of solutions, from automated adjustment of generators to apps utilizing open data, were suggested. The vote was tight, with most tables falling within a point of each other. Lucky number 7 won out for Table 7 that gave us a 7 step solution - starting with an 'Energy Wikileaks' and ending with governments mandating the use of networked devices for an 'internet of things."
Table 7 consisted of Ms. Inna Braverman from Eco Wave Power, Prof. Roger Cashmore from the "UK Atomic Energy Authority", Lord Howell, the Personal Advisor to the Foreign Secretary on Energy and Resources Security, Ms. Ashley Gunn from "Which?" Company, Duncan Price from "Verco", Shelagh Whitley from the "Overseas Development Institute", David Newbery from "Energy Policity Research Group", Chris Lambert from "Westminster Energy Forum", Ali Sultan from "Swicetec" and Jody Haskayne from "Alertme"

The Next day, Ms. Braverman was also chosen as a runner-up in the prestigious "Business Green Leaders Awards 2013".
