A galaxy of stars turn out for the annual event
A host of stars from the worlds of art, fashion, music, business and film gathered at the Serpentine Gallery's legendary Summer Party last week. Eclipse Cocktail Bars took centre stage as it hosted three specially commissioned bars, providing expert mixology and a selection of signature cocktails to the VIP guests.
Co-hosts L'Wren Scott, Tim Jeffries, Julia Peyton-Jones and Hans Ulrich-Obrist drew a crowd of party goers including Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Eva Herzigova, Daisy Lowe, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Princess Beatrice. Artists attending the Serpentine's annual fundraiser included Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Gavin Turk who returned to support the gallery that championed their work early in their career.
Always at the heart of London's most sophisticated social and influential scene, Eclipse is synonymous for its delicious fresh fruit cocktails. At the Summer Party, Eclipse served its signature 'Eclipse Watermelon Martini', a Lychee Martini, Elderflower Cooler with Ketel One, Asahi Beer and Champagne Laurent Perrier Brut NV.
Martyn Bowden, Marketing & Group PR Manager of Eclipse, said: "We were delighted to bring our expert mixology to this prestigious art event and treat guests to our delicious cocktails."
The Serpentine Pavilion 2013 added a magical backdrop to The Summer Party as UVA's (United Visual Artists) lighting design electrified award-winning architect Sou Fujimoto's delicate cloud-like structure like an electrical storm.
The Summer Party is a cornerstone of the international social calendar. Unique worldwide, the Serpentine Gallery Pavillion is a pioneering annual architecture commission that gives internationally renowned architects the opportunity to create their first built structures in England.
