Duplo International Implements NetDespatch for Axis Diplomat Integration
MARLOW, England, May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
NetDespatch, a leading provider of web IT solutions for postal and parcel carriers, has revolutionised order fulfilment and shipping at Duplo International. NetDespatch has helped the printing equipment giant significantly improve operational efficiency and reduce administrative costs through seamless web-based integration with their parcel carrier.
The integration facilitates instant and accurate electronic transfer of order details from Duplo's axis diplomat Order Processing software to their carrier APC Overnight, eliminating the need for manual data entry and reducing the risk of human error, whilst improving service.
Duplo International, the EMEA arm of the Duplo Corporation in Japan, distributes products to more than 105 countries operating direct sales in the UK, France and Poland. They wanted to replace their manual systems with a wholly integrated solution from sales order, automated printing of the correct parcel carrier labels, through to despatch.
The solution utilised the NetDespatch web-based platform, together with their 'Connector' application which automatically imports the order data from axis diplomat, prints the correct labels for APC Overnight, as well as transferring the parcel data to their local APC distribution centre operated by Wey Group International. Tracking information is automatically available to be viewed online by customer service staff.
NetDespatch, experts in IT integration, connect retailers, mail order companies and manufacturers to their postal and parcel carriers using advanced web-based software and services. Business Software provider axis first have now incorporated the NetDespatch solution into their software as an optional module the 'APC Overnight NetDespatch Velocity Connector Interface'.
Steve Sneath Retail Solutions Specialist at NetDespatch comments, "This integration demonstrates the clear benefits of NetDespatch, order details are instantly processed, with the label printed, and the data automatically transferred to the carrier, ensuring accuracy, increasing operational efficiency and reducing costs for the retailer."
