"Our partnership with Aptilo, leading provider of carrier-class systems, enables us to deploy seamless access to the internet for our customers. With over 1,000+ Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the island, customers and visitors will be empowered to like, love, connect, collect, and share the things that matter most," said Masafumi Masada, Chief Technology Officer, DOCOMO PACIFIC.

DOCOMO PACIFIC is using the Aptilo Service Management Platform™ (SMP), a highly scalable, state-of-the-art system to deliver and manage carrier-class Wi-Fi services. Aptilo SMP enables seamless authentication into the Wi-Fi network, which includes 1,000 hotspots in public areas, hotels, hospitals and apartment complexes.

Aptilo's multitenancy capabilities allow enterprise users such as hotel guests to roam between properties without the need for multiple logins. For example, users authenticated at one hotel will be recognized for Wi-Fi access at another hotel in the same chain. Users can register devices through branded captive portals which are tailored to suit the needs of each venue. Non- DOCOMO PACIFIC customers can register their Wi-Fi devices on the network by purchasing a temporary account or entering a prepaid voucher code.

Additionally, the flexibility of Aptilo SMP allows DOCOMO PACIFIC's hospital and hotel customers to accommodate the Wi-Fi requirements of each property. Each property can then offer their own Wi-Fi services for a fee.

"Happy customers are the key for our operator customers. Aptilo helps to ensure that the customer experience is smooth and seamless," said John Robinson, Sales Director, North America, Aptilo Networks. "We are proud to have been selected by DOCOMO PACIFIC for this project."
