Over the course of two months, Max Worsley and expedition partner Martin Nesse will ski unsupported for 1,349km across Antarctica, enduring temperatures as low as -40°C, winds of up to 100mph and a climb to more than 2,800 metres above sea level. Beginning at the edge of the continent north of Berkner Island and finishing at the Geographic South Pole, the expedition is far more than a test of physical endurance. Through storytelling, education and digital engagement, The Onwards Expedition aims to inspire a deeper connection with the natural world and encourage a new generation to embrace exploration and discovery.

To mark the partnership, DEWAR'S recently welcomed Max to its distillery and spiritual home in Aberfeldy for the first time to explore his family connection to the brand. A new film released today documents Max's visit and features conversations with DEWAR'S Global Heritage Manager Jacqui Seargeant. Drawing on historical archives, personal reflections and family stories, the film uncovers the unique ties between the Dewar and Worsley families and the values that continue to connect them today. The film forms part of DEWAR'S ongoing "Here's to the Story" platform, which celebrates the people, experiences and moments that shape who we are and the stories we carry forward.
