Desso® Launches Interactive Toolkit for Marine Division

Desso, a global carpet manufacturer renowned for its Cradle to Cradle® design vision, has launched an interactive website for its Marine division, giving its customers around the world an online toolkit of unprecedented functionality. Recently Desso introduced its first Cradle to Cradle® silver certified cabin carpet for the marine industry.
Visitors to the site can view Desso's comprehensive range of products and services for the marine sector, they can recolor or design their own carpet and then see how it would look in a virtual environment.
The new website builds on Desso's long international expertise in designing and manufacturing carpet for the marine sector, working with companies such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises and Holland America Line.
Design Library
The Design Library includes a broad reflection of a total of 25.000 designs that Desso has created. A thousand of these, sourced from completed client projects and themed collections including recent collections such as "Intrinsic Energy" and "Renaissance Redux", have been selected for publication in the Design Library. New designs will be added on a continuous basis, creating a dynamic toolkit for designers and customers.
Providing a significant new level of functionality, the Design Library allows visitors to browse designs and search for specific colours, shapes, textures and styles - which can be re-coloured and tailored, and then visualised in actual hospitality environments.
Dynamic content
Adding to the site's dynamism, new reference photography, future collections and other news will be added frequently, while customers can download technical product information for all new products. Quick reference guides for maintenance and installation will be added shortly.
