In support of its long-term commitment to the circular economy, Desso, a leading global carpet and sports pitches company, has appointed Robert-Jan van Ogtrop (58), founder of 'Circle Economy' to its supervisory board. 'Circle Economy' is a non-profit open platform that aims to accelerate the transition to the circular economy.

Before creating 'Circle Economy' in 2009, van Ogtrop was the CEO of Bols Royal Distilleries and Remy Cointreau.
