Denim Mashup - 7th Edition of Denimsandjeans.com Bangladesh to be Held on 1st and 2nd March, 2017
DHAKA, Bangladesh, November 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
The spring of 2017 in Bangladesh is going to witness denim in a new avatar of getting 'mashed up' .The 7th edition of Denimsandjeans Bangladesh is scheduled to happen with a fresh new theme -Denim Mashup . A youth-centric denim theme specially for young women, the trend brings the fun-feel of the 90's complete with all over embellishment, shredding and chain details, embroideries, exaggerated proportions, quilted surfaces, fabric mixes, etc.
Denim Mashup has been a subtle trend over many years now and we now see its strong resurgence across multiple brands worldwide from luxury brands like Gucci to fast fashion retailers like Zara and H&M, all are taking up this as the next cool denim trend in 2017. The Denimsandjeans team will recreate this theme using products from some of the key global denim suppliers and bring them under this theme together at Dhaka on 1st and 2nd March, 2017 at Hotel Radisson. Informative seminars, live presentations, panel discussions and workshops on global denim innovations add further zing to the show. Considered as a niche show, Denimsandjeans will bring together a selection of highly-respected denim-mills together and limit the size of the show to maintain exclusivity.
The show will be open during 11.00 AM To 7.30 PM (BST) and the entry is through invite only. For Invitations, you can register here - http://www.bdshow.denimsandjeans.com/invite.php.
The last edition of the Bangladesh show, which was also their sixth, concluded last month with phenomenal response in spite of the existing situation at Bangladesh. Vintage Recall theme brought out a warehouse ambience at the show and some great products attracted key international retailers and buying houses including G-Star, Celio, Carrefour, H&M, Jade, Kiabi, Li and Fung, Ostin, Tesco, Tom Tailor, LC Wkaiki, Zara, etc. A key highlight of the show was a workshop by a traditional artisan from Rajasthan (India) who brought out the 3000-year old indigo dyeing and printing tradition from this ancient land.
"Bangladesh is the fastest growing denim destinations globally for sourcing fabrics and has been growing exponentially and quickly rising up the value chain," said Mr Sandeep Agarwal, Founder of Denimsandjeans.com
