DeLclima Group to Provide 72 Million RMB (over 9,000,000 €) Worth of Top Efficiency Cooling Systems and Services for the Largest Tier 4 Financial Data Centre Planned in Asia for 2015

Part of China Construction Bank's (CCB) new headquarters in Beijing, the 136,200m²  data centre, reflects the highest standards for energy efficiency, sustainability and reliability. Its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver rating, Tier 4 Uptime Institute certification, grade A fire resistance, 9 degree seismic intensity and total low Power Utilization Efficiency (PUE) make it the most advanced and energy saving financial data centre in China and one of the world's largest Tier 4 certified data centres.

HP and the China Academy of Building Research (CABR) joined hands for the design, also cooperating with Tsinghua University.

Climaveneta (a DeLclima company) has been appointed the exclusive supplier to deliver 48 free cooling chillers to cool the data center and 4 heat pumps providing free heating to the 20,000m² office area next to the data centre, recovering the heat rejected by the chillers, with zero CO2 emissions at site, zero water consumption and no glycol. Total cooling and heating capacity exceeds 70 MegaWatts. The contract includes a 10 year service contract and other services.

Deliveries are scheduled in H1 2015.
