TREVISO, Italy, April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Efficient comfort at the service of the new Bank HQs and Expo 2015 Pavilion.
DeLclima, through its subsidiary Climaveneta, supplied high efficiency HVAC units to the new Intesa Sanpaolo HQs in Turin.
Just inaugurated the 44 floor skyscraper, 166 meters high, was inaugurated on the 10th April and will host more than 2,000 employees of the Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo. The investment for the construction of the business center, located near the new Porta Susa station in Turin, is more than half a billion Euros.
The project was designed by Renzo Piano and has taken five years to complete. It has involved a great number of Italian companies, all specializing in green technologies.
The building has obtained the Class A energy certification and the LEED Gold one is pending. To get those prestigious awards some important technical and technological choices have been made.
Going in depth, the air conditioning system is based on 4 DeLclima TECS2W/ HC C 1213 and 1 FOCSW HS 1902. The air-conditioning units exploit ground water to deliver comfort to the whole building without emitting pollutants into the atmosphere. The system has been designed to satisfy all the user's requests in terms of comfort, keeping the building's performance highly efficient all year round.
The cooperation between Intesa Sanpaolo and Climaveneta continues even at Expo 2015 where Climaveneta is the official supplier of air conditioning units for Intesa Sanpaolo's pavilion.
The banking group, as Official Global Partner of the event, will in fact have its own pavilion: a structure of nearly 1,000 square meters, designed by Michele De Lucchi and made with ecological and recyclable materials. Inspired by natural elements it will evoke themes of ecology and sustainable development.
So it is not by chance if the next DeLclima Investor day will take place in October in the prestigious context of the Intesa Sanpaolo Pavilion at Expo 2015.
