- Alliance Merges Social, Collaborative and Data Variety to Deliver BI 3.0 and Big Data Analytics

CHELMSFORD, Massachusetts, Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ-CM: DWCH), the leading global provider of information optimization software and services, and Panorama Software, a global leader in Business Intelligence 3.0 solutions, today announced a strategic alliance targeted at providing users the ability to integrate a greater variety of information, including unstructured and semi-structured data formats and sources, to extend and enhance the value of traditional business intelligence solutions.  Through the integration of Panorama's Necto Business Intelligence platform and Datawatch's Information Optimization platform, organizations will be able to more rapidly populate Panorama's BI 3.0 solution with data that might otherwise have been difficult or even impossible to access.  These sources include things like reports, PDF files, EDI streams, log files, machine data and - significantly – reports from traditional BI systems.
