Sharon Cooper, CDO at BMJ, commenting on the win says "I am incredibly proud of my team's achievement in winning Cloud Project of the Year with Datapipe. It is the culmination of many months of hard work, and a reflection of the success of our close working relationship that not just allowed us to work the way we wanted to work, but to be able to leverage all of Datapipe's expertise. The success of the project has set us up for the future, to continue to ensure that our digital products make the best use of technology innovation to deliver benefits to our customers and users."
"Winning Cloud Project of the Year is an exceptional honour for Datapipe," said Tony Connor, Head of EMEA Marketing for Datapipe. "BMJ found itself with an infrastructure that was no longer fit for purpose. As a trusted partner to BMJ, we delivered an automated solution and, most importantly, implemented the change with zero downtime for BMJ's customers. At Datapipe, we pride ourselves on first class customer service and this award is testament to this commitment."
It has been a significant year of growth for Datapipe. 2016 has seen the company expand its reach in Europe, highlighted by the acquisition of leading UK managed cloud services provider, and Advanced AWS Consulting Partner, Adapt.
This win follows Datapipe's 2015 SVC Award win for the Cloud Security Product of the Year award. The innovative Datapipe Access and Audit Control for the Cloud (DAAC), formerly known as DACMA, product took the win with its ability to let enterprises use cloud managed services without being required to hand over administrator‐level credentials.
The SVC Awards were established to recognise the end users, resellers and vendors that are setting the bar for innovation in the storage, virtualisation and cloud industries across EMEA. The MSP of the Year category is one of the most fiercely contested categories of the awards. A two-stage judging process saw entries first assessed by a panel of industry experts, before being shortlisted for a public vote.
