Datacom Systems Inc. today announces the appointment of Kevin Formby as the new President and CEO of Datacom Systems Inc. Most recently Formby was VP Business Development at Endace, a world leader in data capture and analysis hardware and software. The existing President and CEO, Sam Lanzafame, will remain on as Chairman.

Formby is a successful senior sales and marketing executive with a long record of success in telecommunication service providers such as BT and Orange. He has played leadership roles in a number of innovative new business ventures especially in the area of financial services technology companies - a key market for Datacom. Coming from Endace, he also brings with him extensive knowledge of the data capture and analysis marketplace on a global basis.
Formby is both a UK and US national. He has a First Class Honors degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering from Birmingham University in the UK and is a Chartered Engineer.
