AMSTERDAM, May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Datacenter.com, the data center provider for on-demand colocation services for hybrid solutions with a planned roll-out of colocation data centers in strategic markets worldwide, today announced an expansion of its Amsterdam data center. The expansion will increase Datacenter.com's equipped space by nearly 50%, will enable the company to meet growing customer demand for high capacity and flexible colocation space and services, particularly from customers in the fast-growing digital media, gaming, enterprise and cloud computing sectors.
The expansion project will also increase the available white space power by an additional 1,5MW. This expansion will address the current and future needs of companies running cloud-based applications or virtualizes workloads that require high-power-density deployments in Amsterdam.
