Crosby, Stills & Nash Announce Seven U.K. Tour Dates For October 2013, Following Spring And Summer Legs In The U.S. And Europe

LOS ANGELES, March 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of the group's acclaimed 2012 year-long world tour, Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) are touring again this year. Just announced are seven shows in the U.K. in October 2013, following spring and summer tour legs in the U.S. and Europe with more to be announced soon. The U.K. dates kick off on October 5 at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, England, and currently run thru October 15 with a concert at The Sage in Gateshead, England. Other highlights on the itinerary include two shows at Royal Albert Hall in London (October 8 and 9), and a show at Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland (October 15). The U.K. dates pick up on CSN's spring tour dates in the U.S.—May 5 through 25—and a summer itinerary in Europe, June 20 through July 22. All of CSN's 2013 tour dates build on the momentum and excitement of their 2012 tour, and feature the same backing band: Todd Caldwell (organ), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao (drums), Kevin McCormick (bass), and James Raymond (keyboards). Reviewing last year's Red Rocks show, MSN Music's Mark Brown wrote, "CSN absolutely killed it. Every song…It's hard to believe that any band in 2012 would be putting on better shows than it did in 1969, but CSN did just that." CSN 2012, a 25-song set presenting CSN's first live performance film in more than 20 years, was captured at one of the 2012 tour's early dates. The set was released last summer, and ended the year as a Billboard Top 20 DVD for 2012. Produced by Graham Nash, CSN 2012 (Blu-Ray, 2DVD/CD) features a complete concert, and bonus content including a conversation with David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Nash, and "on-the-road interviews" with the band and crew. CSN also recently released the first recording artist subscription-based iPad App approved for sale in the Apple App Store. More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played its first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music. David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times—with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively.
