This April, 8,000 private investors will visit the Master Investor Show to receive valuable insights from financial luminaries and talk to companies looking for investors. The 14th Master Investor Show takes place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London, on Saturday 23rd April. The event brings together private investors and companies either listed on the stock market, or offering other forms of investment opportunities. Keynote speakers include star investor Jim Mellon (128th on the Sunday Times Rich list), award-winning journalist Paul Lewis (Radio 4's Money Box presenter), and well-known stock market expert Simon Cawkwell (aka 'Evil Knievil').

This year's show is coming off the back of a successful relaunch in 2015. The organising company, Notting Hill-based Master Investor Ltd., received fresh investment to create the sector's stand-out event. Due to increased demand, the 2016 show area has been substantially expanded. 6,200 delegates have registered so far - a figure 250% above last year. Organisers expect at least 8,000 attendees.
The event creates opportunities for private investors to speak directly with CEOs and founders of exhibiting companies. Companies, in turn, can tap into private investors to increase liquidity in their shares or to raise new funding. 25% of event attendees have a portfolio between 250k and 999k, and 12% larger than £1 million.
Throughout the day, exhibitors and industry experts will deliver talks on current and future trends. The show also provides a stimulating environment to learn about crowdfunding, pensions, spread-betting, and other forms of individual saving and investment, empowering investors to take ownership of their financial destinies.
The main exhibitor hall is almost sold out. Headline partners include Alan Steel Asset Management, Edison Research and ISDX.
