CompTIA Opens Registration for 2013 EMEA Member & Partner Conference

- Two-day gathering will focus on latest technologies, trends for IT business growth

LONDON, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CompTIA, the non-profit association for the Information technology (IT) industry, announced today that registration is now open for its 2013 EMEA Member & Partner Conference.

The annual gathering of IT industry channel executives and IT certification partners from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa is scheduled for 21-22 October at the Lancaster London. The conference is open to CompTIA members, non-members and partners.

Each year the CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference attracts executives from leading IT solution providers, value-added resellers, technology vendors and distributors, training companies and academies from across the region. These industry leaders come together to connect, collaborate and gain insight into the latest technologies and trends to help grow their businesses and the IT industry.

The conference opens 21 October with the UK Channel Community meeting. The Community brings together IT resellers, solution providers, distributors, vendors and channel associates to network, share ideas and develop best practices with a focus on resolving business issues affecting the IT channel.

The community meeting is followed by a networking dinner for all conference delegates.

The main conference runs on 22 October and features two session tracks for distinct CompTIA audiences: UK Channel (solution providers, vendors and distributors) and Education (CAPP Academy, delivery and content partners). Each track will include insights from keynote speakers and panels; educational sessions led by industry thought-leaders; and opportunities to network with industry peers and partners.

Solution provider attendees will have the opportunity earn the CompTIA IT Business Trustmark™ at the Member and Partner Conference. This vendor-neutral business credential identifies IT solution providers that utilize the industry best business practices.
