SABIS® Signs as Platinum Sponsor of Building Future Education MENA 2011
SABIS®, a global leader in providing high-quality educational services, is committed to improving the standard of education worldwide. As such, for the second consecutive year the global education management organisation has signed as Platinum Sponsor of Building Future Education MENA 2011 exhibition and conference "Modernising Education to Create Tomorrow's Workforce", to be held on October 25-26, 2011.
"SABIS® is proud to contribute to the improvement of education in the region and to extend to others our knowledge and expertise in education," said Amy Wesley, Corporate Director for Marketing Communications, SABIS®.
Andrew Pert, Regional Director Middle East, organisers of the event said, "SABIS® is a key player in educational reform and advancement in the region, and we are delighted they have come on board as partners for the event to share their expertise and insights to accelerate educational reforms in this part of the world."
As part of its involvement in Building Future Education MENA 2011, SABIS® President Carl Bistany will present on The Role of the Private Sector in Enhancing Education. Drawing on SABIS®'s extensive experience in the field of education, he will also take part in a panel discussion, Rising to the Challenge of Educational Reform, where he will have a chance to share SABIS®'s experiences in public-private partnerships and explore viable options to improve education standards with other panelists.
Given SABIS®'s successful track record in public-private partnership projects in the US, UAE and Kurdistan - in schools which are providing high-quality education to students who may not have access otherwise - the organisation is involved in pooling efforts among government, business and industry to create an effective and efficient vehicle addressing challenges of modernising education.
"At SABIS® we believe the basic role of education is for students to be functional and productive in the world in which they live. To provide them the tools which allow them to keep pace with change while remaining functional and productive throughout their lives," commented Bistany.
This year's Building Future Education MENA in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) features an interactive exhibition floor and a full free-to-attend conference including world-renowned speakers from the field of education, a public awareness programme, high-level roundtable forums and Design My Learning Space competition.

The conference features in-depth panel discussions, based around specific research studies from BFEMENA's Knowledge Partners Booz & Co, Parthenon and RAND Qatar Policy Institute (RQPI) that aim to assess the education market in the GCC and areas of potential investment.
The conference will also cover key topics such as world-class facilities and learning environments, curriculum and school improvement, quality assurance, special education needs and sustainable education facilities.
