Global property group, Goodman has attracted two new customers to Colworth Science Park. Econergy Ltd, and its partner company Cool Planet Ltd, both wholly owned subsidiaries of British Gas, have agreed to lease 4,619 sq ft of office space at The Exchange.
Econergy Ltd is responsible for the complete solution, from design through to after service packages, of unique biomass boiler heating solutions. Cool Planet Ltd provides ground and air sourced heat pumps. Both companies form the British Gas Renewable Heat division, an exciting growth area in the British Gas portfolio.
In addition to the new customers, Goodman has also leased office space to management and business consultants GovEd Ltd, bringing the total number of businesses based at The Exchange to fifteen. Goodman has commenced bespoke fit out of the facility, and the new customers are expected to move into their offices in December this year.
Located within Colworth Science Park, nine miles north of Bedford, The Exchange accommodates 54,000 square feet of prime office and meeting space. Colworth Science Park is set in over 100 acres of parkland and is an established location for scientific excellence in commercial research and development. The science park is a joint venture between Goodman and Unilever, and incorporates around 350,000 sq ft square feet of flexible laboratory and office space.
