Digital agency Click Consult has announced that it is still enjoying success from its popular organic search project The Short Cutts.
Since its launch in February 2013, the site has received 40,000 visits from 139 different countries. It has also been a huge success on social media websites - the project has been shared over 1,300 times on Facebook, 1,600 times on Google+ and 1,600 times on Twitter.
The Short Cutts has been praised by key industry figures such as Barry Schwartz and it has also been mentioned on a string of prominent industry blogs, including Search Engine Land, SE Roundtable, Higher Visibility and Search Engine Journal. Furthermore, it has also featured on a series of smaller industry and individual blogs, being used in several as a starting reference for specific industry related problems and questions. In total, over 200 domains now link to The Short Cutts.
In addition, it has also featured in presentations at search marketing conferences around the world, including the renowned Search Love event in Boston, USA.
The project is the brainchild of members of the organic search team at Click Consult. It aims to provide shortened answers to the Webmaster Help videos presented by Matt Cutts, the Head of Webspam at Google. All historic videos were collated, whilst any new videos that Cutts publishes are uploaded onto The Short Cutts accordingly.
