AUSTIN, Texas, September 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
- ClearCube and iCore will begin partnership focusing on PCoIP projects
ClearCube Technology, the leader in virtual desktop products for cloud computing, including rack mounted secure workstations, blade PCs and VMware Ready zero clients, today announced a strategic agreement with iCore, a Russian-based IT company, wherein iCore will exclusively resell ClearCube's centralized computing solutions to customers in Russia, and will serve as a reseller in the Eastern European markets. The partnership will allow ClearCube to expand its business and gain additional sales momentum by utilizing iCore's established reseller channels in Russia and Eastern Europe. ClearCube's suite of centralized and virtual computing products is available immediately through iCore.
The partnership between ClearCube and iCore is a strategic move as both organizations not only have unique experience and interest in PC over IP (PCoIP) technology, but both companies also have core strengths in the areas of virtualized IT infrastructures, design and implementation of storage infrastructures, service line support, and professional management. Both ClearCube and iCore target customers in the government, military and financial sectors.
"For the Russian and Eastern European markets, supply and maintenance of hardware and software systems that combine PCoIP technologies with VMware View is in high demand, and therefore was a determining factor in our decision to work with ClearCube," said Demidov Ruslan, CEO, iCore. "iCore is pleased to be selected as ClearCube's partner, and we look forward to representing the company's powerful and comprehensive suite of products."
ClearCube's centralized computing solutions remove PCs from the desktop and replace them with a Zero Client that connects to powerful blade workstations located in the data center. Benefits of ClearCube's PC blade and zero client architecture include:
- Hardened physical and data security
- 99% availability and uptime
- Dramatically reduced operating costs
- Improved work environment with enhanced thermal and noise characteristics.
"iCore is one of Europe's largest and most widely-respected technology resellers of reliable and high-performance technology solutions. Our partnership with them will help to solidify our complete coverage of leading centralized computing solutions to the Russian and Eastern European markets," said Randy Printz, president and CEO, ClearCube.
