China's Most Senior Shale Decision-Makers Among Confirmed Speakers at 4th Global Unconventional Gas Summit (21-23 October), Beijing

Leading Chinese governmental energy industry experts in the field of unconventional gas are among the confirmed speakers at the 4th Global Unconventional Gas Summit, taking place in Beijing, 21st to Senior representatives from the National Energy Administration and National Development and Reform Commission will provide the global unconventional gas industry with a high-level and important insight into the latest updates and future development of China's advancing shale gas business.
Wu Yin, Vice Chairman of China Energy Research Society (CERS) and Former Deputy Administrator of National Energy Administration (NEA) will provide the VIP Opening Address on day one of the Summit. Mr. Yin will be joined by David C. Carroll, President and CEO of the Gas Technology Institute (GTI), co-organiser of the event.
Li Yinghua, Deputy Director General, Department of Oil and Gas, National Energy Administration, will present the opening keynote address on day one of the Summit.
Li Junfeng, Director General of National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, National Development and Reform Commission, will participate in a day one panel discussion on the current global state of unconventional gas exploration and production, including an overview of China's progress in the development on unconventional gas, the opportunities and challenges facing china and en examination of effective and applicable shale gas development models in China.
Mr. Junfeng will be joined by a Chief Geologist of Sinopec Group, Gavin Thompson, Head of Asia Pacific, Wood Mackenzie and Mark Nelson, Vice President Business Development, ConocoPhillips China.
China Energy Research Society (CERS) have this week confirmed their support as the event co-organiser. CERS will invite senior Chinese industry executives to attend.
Global business leaders from China, USA, Australia, India, Canada, Indonesia and France are also among those confirmed to speak.
