CHIC 2014 covers 100,000 square meters, in which over 1,000 brands from 20 countries and regions are to be exhibited. There will be 12 professional exhibition halls: Men's Wear, Women's Wear, Casual Wear, Kids' Wear, Underwear, Leather/Fur Wear, Down Wear, Fashion Accessories, Garment-related Resources, Overseas Halls, Designers' Collections and a CHIC Fashion Trend Display Zone. It is the first annual show of China's fashion industry, and the present leading business modes will be deeply examined. In addition, there will be over 70 brilliant seminars, forums, on-site matching and other trade communication activities during the fair to provide companies with new ideas for brand development and market expansion.
The long history and mature production system of international brands have been attractive to numerous Chinese operators, while many famous overseas brands have also expected to find partners of the same mind via the platform provided by CHIC to explore the Chinese market together. According to this demand, CHIC 2014 overseas halls further improved the trade match-making service on the former basis of the "trade match-making conference" to help pair up like-minded companies.
Over 400 foreign brands from 19 countries and regions such as Italy, France, Germany, UK, USA, Canada, South Korea, Austria, Turkey, Japan, etc., will not only "show" the international resources of CHIC, but will also seek multilateral cooperation opportunities via activities held during CHIC, for instance, the Welcome Dinner and Seminar for Overseas Exhibitors, Seminars on the Chinese Market, the CHIC International Designers Show and more.
"We expect to have the whole supply chain connected," said the organizer, "from raw materials to technology, machining, ready-to-wear garments and retailing, thus helping manufacturers make every link clear and realize the optimization of the supply chain."
