The customers of one of the world's largest Internet companies can now pay for their online shopping with the innovative cross-channel payment solution
Starting now, customers of Rakuten in Germany and Austria can use Yapital to pay at the online checkout. This is changing the payment landscape, as Rakuten is one of the ten largest Internet companies in the world; it is a mega online shopping mall with over 90 million customers worldwide. Over 7,000 merchants are represented on the German Rakuten platform alone. Due to the central ordering and payment process of the online marketplace, customers can now use the Yapital app on their smartphone to pay for over 24 million products from a selection of more than 10,000 brands.
The partnership between the e-commerce giant and the first European cross-channel payment solution brings together two philosophies that are an excellent match.
