Centile Telecom Applications brings FMC to MVNOs
SOPHIA-ANTIPOLIS, France, Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Centile Telecom Applications, Europe's leading developer of Unified Communications and Fixed-Mobile Convergence platforms for operators and integrators unveils its latest innovative product "ISTRA™ FMC Router" enabling MVNOs to deliver FMC services to enterprises.
The ISTRA™ FMC router is a Fixed-Mobile Convergence VAS enabler for fixed operators becoming MVNOs. Hosted by a MNO or MVNA/E, ISTRA™ FMC router is interconnected to a multitude of MVNOs, each having a Fixed VAS or Cloud PBX platform.
Today, operators equipped with a Fixed VAS, Cloud PBX or PBX Trunking service offering can only provide limited convergence features such as Mobile Twinning and only for incoming fixed-line calls. Centile ISTRA™ FMC router, eliminates that restriction by converging the fixed and mobile environments.
Centile ISTRA™ FMC router anchors mobile calls from the MNO's network to the MVNO's Fixed VAS and Cloud PBX platform using SIP Forced Routing mechanisms. This allows fixed-line operators to offer "originating and terminating" mobile services at once and benefit from the same services as the ones offered by MNOs.
Furthermore, all PBX features are extended to mobile devices and end users benefit from full Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) services as follows:
- Unique Calling Line Identity for both fixed and mobile outgoing calls
- Convergent voicemail
- Mobile phone status (useful in case of Call Center)
- Convergent calls history
- Unique selfcare for both fixed and mobile lines
- Voice Call Continuity
